So Leska turned ONE in October and I knew I wanted to make him a cupcake (even though my husband thought I was CRAZY!). I did some research and found a recipe for a tuna cupcake!
This is the recipe:
Birthday Cake for Cats
Makes: 2 small cakes | Prep time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 can of tuna in springwater, drained
2 tbs flour
2 tbs grated cheese
defrosted cooked prawn, to garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 180c (350f). Break up tuna in a medium bowl. Lightly beat egg in a separate bowl, then combine with tuna. Add in flour and cheese. Stir to combine. Scoop batter into cupcake tin or silicone cups. Bake for 15 minutes.

Leska loves baked goods so I knew he'd like this one! He's always trying to eat human food rather than his food meant for cats!
He absolutely loved the prawn I put on top however I had to break the cupcake up a bit for him and he snacked on it throughout the day (I think it was a bit much!).
I would recommend this recipe though, it is very easy even for the novice cook :-)
